It has been a while since I last posted, but as we get closer to football season you will get a steadier dose of my snarky comments and football observations. The NBA Finals and the Lebron James circus, basically put me to sleep. Luckily, this weeks British Open at St. Andrews has provided me with the cold splash of water I needed to arise from my slumber.I now have a new Sports Centre anchor, and no I did not misspell that. Jay Onrait is the lead anchor on Canada's version of SportsCenter. While he doesn't have to turn his head to stare you down (Boo Yah), or set up camp on Brett Farve's front lawn, he still gets the job done. Onrait has a dry, and cold blooded sense of humor that I just discovered and am suddenly all aflutter over.
Onrait is author to possibly the funniest sports highlight clip I have ever seen. I am not able to embed the clip since MLB is constantly taking it down from Youtube due to copyright infringement, however I strongly urge you watch.
Also, if you have 15 minutes to kill this weekend, Put Jay's name into Youtube and enjoy. Here's a little sampler for you.
